Nate was something else.... pretty sure he was grooming every frat guy who came in there for the swoop cut trim (myself included).
He pulled his phone out to show me a picture of what he was going to cut my hair like and scrolled through a d*ck pic and laughed after.

The quality of a Gay Nate cut depended on if he was talking on his bluetooth or not. You'd site down in the chair and think everything was okay, then he'd get a phone call and you just knew you were about to get a bad haircut.

My buddy was getting his haircut by him and telling him how his ex started screwing his best friend for a few months. His ex justt happened to walk in at the same time with a new boyfriend and without skipping a beat Nate looks at her and points to my friend and just blurts out Hey....I hear you were fricking his best friend.!.

I went to Gay Nate a few times. A flaming homo with an Asian accent is a trip. It reminds me of the guy from The Hangover, but gayer. I was a tight wad though, so I usually got my high & tight from the old men at the student union.
I needed a haircut real bad one Friday evening before drill and messed up and went into Top Notch Barber Shop on Burbank near Gardere. The guy that gave me a fade said he had never cut a white guys hair before. He had me lined out and looking like Steve Harvey when I came out of there. That was more of a trip than Gay Nate. I almost got an article 15 because of that cut.

Yes, he cut my hair from 01/02-06. Northgates. The original place was by McDonald’s then he moved onto Chimes.

Who was the old barber on Chimes street (late 80s) who drank all day? I got a haircut late in the day and ended up with a flat top because he was drunk.

Gay Nate got it done 9/10 times at the Chimes locale, thought I feel like he started slipping around ‘14-‘15.

He worked for Backseat Becky at a shop by McDonalds when I was there. Early to mid 90’s. Becky usually cut mine but I remember Nate blew the hair off my buddy’s neck and he freaked out about it.
