Had a week worth of hurricane clothes last year before washing, after awhile you get used to the funk.

Yes. I have a 3600 watt.

I was doing my fridge, fan/charging stuff, and then the washer then dryer at the same time. I had no issues. Mine dryer is gas.

Eta: just to clarify the washer and dryer were not at the same time

When we lived in Algiers Point, I had races. Washed two of the same size and content sheets at the same time.

Hung one on the clothes line in the back yard, tossed the other in the dryer. The one on the clothes line dried faster by about 25% of total time.

Clothes on hangers even hanging in the shade of a carport will dry fast with the heat you are having

Most baws use the dryer plug to back feed the generator.

My first house I had 5,500W that did run the dryer during gustav. But I had to turn everything thing else off

You know...the reason you have to run your AC when there is now power is because it's hot as frick.

Use the heat for at least one benefit. It should at least serve a purpose in this scenario.

Dry your clothes outside.
