Cats are awesome. And one of the easiest pets to take care of.

That's my 2 year old Sophie. She showed up as a wild kitten. It took me about a month to tame her.

I have 2 more, Lolo Jones, she is 11 years old, I found her on I-10 at the Lacassine exit.

I have an orange 2 year old name, Winn-Dixie (Dixie), I found him in the WD parking lot. Had I waited to name him based on his personality like I usually do...his name would be Chucky.

Had a twenty pound Main Coon that passed about 3 years ago.

Old baw was 21 years old.

One of the coolest pets I’ve ever had.

He would play fetch.

I guess. If you like cat hair all over your furniture and boxes full of cat shite and cat piss

I love when the first line of cat owners is… ‘my cat thinks and acts just like a dog’

No it doesn’t. And get a dog and quit hoping your nasty cat is a dog

We also had a big Maine Coon before these 2. It stayed outside. He was cool. I liked him. RIP Jet.

But then someone poisoned him, which destroyed my girls, and thus the promise of inside cats.

The only good cat is a Barn / Shed cat that lives there. They keep the snakes and rats under control. Other than that they serve no purpose IMO. But if someone likes them that is on them and their choice.

what do you cat owners expect that let your pet roam and shite at other people’s property.

You wouldn’t let your dog run around the neighborhood and shite in people’s yards. Why do you think it’s ok for a cat? Serious question

I don’t think it’s ok honestly.

But my wife wanted a cat and I didn’t want it inside.

We are moving to 30 acres soon and these cats will go outside. No neighbors then.

Forced to adopt 2 kittens ten years ago. Never got to pet one once. Fed twice a day for ten years. Have to trap to take to vet. Run away from me like I beat them everyday. Provide a garage and beds, water, food. Run dogs away that treed them. Had to faceoff a german shepard in the garage.

Haven't ever petted one. One would rub up against my leg at feeding time but if I made a move to reach down he's try to scratch the crap out of me. that one died a few months back.

but they make all smaller mammals, insects, and reptiles dead.

Yep. That's how I got my two. One outside and one inside. Both have great personalities. People that say they hate cats have only been around a-hole cats (there are plenty), around people who don't know what to do to take care of them and how to act around them, or of some insecure, men like dogs mindset.
