Alabama's paying students to vax.
All UA students received the following message earlier this afternoon.
The University of Alabama is announcing its new COVID-19 vaccine rewards for students who are enrolled for the fall semester. By rolling up your sleeve, you’ve helped Protect Our Herd, and this is our way of saying thank you!
Let us know you’ve been vaccinated, and we will automatically thank you with $20 in your Bama Cash account. Do so before 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, to receive your reward.
Haven’t gotten your COVID-19 vaccine yet? Make an appointment locally or through the Student Health Center today so you can claim your award, too.
All students currently enrolled for the Fall 2021 Semester are eligible and qualify after their first dose. Check the status of your $20 Bama Cash reward through the eAccounts app, Apple Wallet, Google Pay or the Action Card website. For a list of locations that accept Bama Cash and more information, visit the Bama Cash website.

The whole mask thing is weird. You can’t be for the science and then say ANY type of face covering is ok. So many people might as well be using their shirt to cover their mouth and nose with how pretty ineffective most cloth masks are. Some people don’t even wash those masks and wear it improperly.
But apparently if everyone is wearing some kind of face covering somewhere on their face, it’s all good!

So if 10 people are together.. One of them took the vaccine and it isn't working. Out of the other 9, the more who are not vaccinated has a chance of having it and spreading to people who the vaccine doesn't work on.
How fricking hard is that to figure out?

Have you considered that those individuals who are concerned about the virus can self quarantine? Or get the vaccine? Are you aware of these options?
