They also mispronounced insurance fraud.

“It should just be a suspension and let the voters decide” is exactly that.

You should go ahead and take some time and look into what’s going on with AI. It sounds like you might be surprised.
I play around with the paid versions of all of the major AI services pretty much daily.
They are worse than 1L law clerks and make up more than they get right

I'll take the over.

I am retired now and have no other responsibility than to take care of myself. Therefore, I have a lot of extra time and I spend some of it following the development of artificial intelligence very closely because I think it’s going to be quite impactful. I am also thinking it’s going to be more positive than negative.
So let me apparently be the first to tell you that this isn’t the final version of any artificial intelligence model. It’s getting better and it’s getting better quickly.
If you’re going to need employment going forward, I recommend that you get real familiar with using artificial intelligence. Remember the same thing applies to artificial intelligence as to anything that requires input. And that is garbage in equals garbage out.

show me in the dissent where they said her behavior didn’t warrant removal. The decision is on the LSC website. I am not defending that piece of shite judge in any way, she’s unqualified, incompetent and dishonest and belongs nowhere near a courtroom. But you are just making shite up
The dissents are clearly passing the buck and a weak attempt to protect “the profession”
Soft and they should be embarrassed

Well that’s like, your opinion, man.
There is no substantive proof anywhere of how this is going to be.
It’s looking like, however, another Y2K scenario. A whole lot of scaremongering making a whole lot of people some good money and that’s about it.

Society was already suffering from declining critical thinking ability. High school and college kids are already abusing AI to do their school work and it’ll only get worse. That’s not even getting into the employment aspects.

High school and college will become irrelevant. I view that as an enormous positive.
Many will adapt and thrive, but there will also be those who won’t and they will wither on the vine.
It’s the new horseless carriage.

you may be right and you may be wrong and it’s best to acknowledge that in matters of judgement. The facts of the case warranted removal from her court. A suspension would have accomplished that without setting precedent. I happen to agree with the majority but that does not mean the dissent was disingenuous. It might be, it might not. One of the dissenting justices is a black female and for her I suspect there was prejudice towards the defendant but that cannot be proven

A judge who blatantly lies should remain on the bench to decide cases based on whether evidence presented is TRUTHFUL or a LIE???!
Okay dude, guess those of us who believe the truth matters are just ignorantly outraged.
The fact it has been over 16 years since they last removed a judge shows how absolutely CORRUPT the LA Supreme Court has been considering the scandals involving several judges in just last 5 years.
Any judge with any issues involving them having proven departures from the truth should be removed, banned from any public office going fwd and referred for disbarment .

Shocking....now let's do BR family court judges AND lawyers..In cahoots and completely corrupt.

This is you trying to sound smart, but saying absolutely nothing of value

However, AI is not the answer.
If your argument is true, then it’s a wash. Sounds like you would be happy with the status quo.
If she deserves to be removed from the bench, she should be removed right now regardless if an election falls within the time frame of her suspension.
If her actions disqualified her from being a judge right now, she doesn't deserve the opportunity to run, be reelected and serve again.

3 LA Supreme Court “justices”’voted to not remove her.
read the dissenting opinions before you grab your pitchfork. Her term is almost up, they favored suspension for the remainder of her term until the election wherein the voters would decide her fate. Like many I believe that district voting for judges is absurd, but the 3 justices that dissented simply came down on the side of voter agency and not an opinion on the severity of her behavior
or you could just remain ignorantly outraged which seems to be the default setting of this simulation we all live in now
The 2 black justices and Hughes, who lives to be a fricking contrarian.
