I know it will take a while for everyone to get power back. But, WTF! Hammond hasn't had a single line restored. Nothing for Denham Springs and a couple on very minor lines in Walker. Airline through Baton Rouge is still down with a big chunk of Florida. The progress looks pretty dismal at this point.

Power out in Bocage Still. Pretty amazing there is zero update on what’s going on.

What are you talking about? Entergy has given me 4 updates since yesterday.

1. We're working hard to assess the situation

2. We're working really hard to assess the situation

3. We have 20,000 crews helping restore power. Be patient

4. Stay away from downed power lines and do not walk in standing water.

frick these MFers.

The green on the entergy usage map for me, is also not correct.

Gulf States should have never sold out to Entergy. IMHO.

Those maps are fickle, stupid, and wrong.

They are as accurate as Entergy knows and that’s what’s important.

Taking days or even weeks to fix everything is reasonable.

Being unable to tell people what the specific plan is and where they fit into it is not reasonable and frankly is unacceptable.

Nobody reasonable can complain about the effort and time it takes to get back online. But, how can anyone believe the efforts are being performed efficiently when the only communication is “things are fricked up and we are working very very hard”.

Certainly, they are working on high priority issues and there should be some expectation of impact when those items are done. There is zero information on that.

In Pollard power is being turned off… not on. Haven’t seen a crew since the storm. Not sure what is going on. And on top of that. The only information I have from Entergy is “our map is not working.”

Can confirm. Had power through the storm and they turned it off this am.

Cox will only work if the PS have power…which usually doesn’t if there’s a power outage. I’m doing assessment work in New Orleans tomorrow for Cox. We can’t do much until there’s power.

Doesn’t explain how it worked until Monday evening when power went out on Sunday around 8pm. Basically 18 hours it worked and then gone. I am on a generator and was still enjoying the internet until then. Now stuck with att with limited service.

1st world problem I know.
