Does anyone know if Entergy works through the night or do they call it quits at a certain time? Would imagine something like this would have 24/7 coverage.

Saw a crew at about 7:30pm. Looks like they just fixed the massive line that was laying across South Harrell’s Ferry. That’s gotta mean good things for a lot of neighborhoods.

All the same 16 hours? I'd imagine so. The point being: should anyone expect their power to come back at 3 am or all they all sleeping then?

Entergy has already said their map isn’t up to date

And I have to admit to the slightest twinge of remorse... I was locked in at work until last night for the storm, so I didn't have things set up ahead of time. Spent today on a quest for gas, got 15 gallons and filled up the car (REALLY pissed me off, my truck transmission shite the bed friday. So I had to get gas 1 can at a time, in the passenger seat of my convertible).
Got the generator set up, got it cranked up, started up some fans and stood back to admire my work. And then everything fricking lit up

They’re definitely working overnight. They were turning on people’s power at 2AM this morning.

Anybody know anything ab the Bocage area? I swear that storm didn't seem that bad here and it fricked our world up. God help us if we ever are the direct hit of a storm. What a clusterfrick

And there is not a single tree or tree limb or power line down in my neighborhood and y’all where RIGHT HERE

Because Entergy's operation is only marginally better than Chernobyl's.

Still out in Jefferson terrace. Any word on the tree that fell off Cal? Haven’t been over there since yesterday.

There were 3-4 bucket trucks working there (across the street from the park) at around 4:00 pm. It’s my understanding they had been there about and hour or so by that time.
they replaced and framed the poles and rehung the primaries at the park...earlier they fixed the feed on Oliphant replace 2 poles, framed them and rehung the primary there...
fixed the secondary on E Inniswold in front of the new subdivision...
thought they were going to light it up but the foreman said they have one other issue they found that will be fixed before they can light it up...
probably tomorrow morning if not tonight...

Friend of mine let me use his generator he got power back. I am lying on the couch with a box fan 2 feet away fills great lol. Got my .357 on my coffee table I am set now. I live off of Jones creek and have Demco. Hopefully this won’t be as bad as Gustaf I was out of power for 2 miserable weeks.

I've gotta think there's either a problem with the substation right next to the tennis club or the line feeding it. There's just way too much of a monolithic block of outage there.

Still mostly dark in oakhills, kind of surprised.
