Yep. And people like to defend this complete clusterfrick by saying their profits are mandated, but they also have no regard to cost, etc. so they can operate as shitty as they can and still earn their coin. But that’s the nature of utilities.

Demco substation on Vignes feeds back end of Shenandoah and tigerbend/hoo shoo too area. 7-8 poles appear down on Womack rd coming from the substation. As of noon when I drove to my house, no trucks working Womack to fix issue. So no power for this area until it is fixed.

Well, I wasn't attacking linemen. I was stating the fact that Entergy's attempts at keeping people updated were and are terrible.
But everyone today is a hero for doing their job and must be treated as such.
Exactly. And these same Karen’s are telling everyone that they feed them lunch, stop them to boost their spirits, etc. when in reality the best thing is to maybe give them a thumbs up and let them do their thing.
No one sane is angry at the linemen. The parking lots full of trucks mean they came immediately and are waiting on orders. It’s not like they all decided to sleep in and take they day off. They delivered the call and are now waiting on their inept bosses. That’s where the rub is.

They messing with my emotions more today topwater trout… I left and they had the light out the neighborhood off, and the I-12 light off and the Essen Jefferson light still off… was thinking maybe they doing some work, came back and light to the neighborhood is back on but that’s it, neighborhood still in the dark

And now entergy’s outage map is an ‘area view’?! What the hell is that? It doesn’t even show who has been restored or not. Just a generalization. The communication/transparency got worse instead of better. Lol

So…entergy just sent text saying they are still assessing damage in my area. Once they finish assessment. they will then give an estimate of when it will be restored. Ironically. my entergy and ATT bills were due today. I had to drive across town to login to pay both of them because neither service is working at my house. You just gotta laugh. I truly hate both companies.

I’m tired of this monopoly. I’m all up for having a single infrastructure and powe lines but they should let people vote on who gets to use it by parish.

So just found out the power line at old Hammond and Brentwood that is down is a transmission line, and they gotta fix something else before they fix that… so looks like me along with folks in that area are going to be out for awhile

I live on essen lane by right past I-12 over past… so that’s the only thing I can think of that is keeping our power down

Went to rouses, and the cashier my wife is friends with lives right there, and that’s what she was told by a lineman this morning… and someone else here said they heard the same thing… and I verified that Brentwood and old Hammond is blocked off now
And with this information I am fed up, so now going to move into a empty flat one bed room apt that has electric until my house comes back on
