I saw the same thing the day after Laura. They really are staging getting a game plan. Guarantee tomorrow they will look like ants all over the place. Doesn’t make anybody less pissed to see them just sitting in trucks. I was pissed also.

I’m a little past Tiger Bend and Elliott on DEMCO. Power and cell service came back at like 4:30 / 5:00ish.

After all these years all these advances in technology you would think entergy knew how to get power restored fairly quickly… just drove around my neighborhood and went all around surrounding areas and no power lines or anything and no entergy workers to be found

Saw 6 DEMCO trucks earlier today on N. accord at the servitude where the power line feed Shenandoah. Saw an entergy truck driving down Elliot as well. Look like he was surveying damage. And saw a COX truck on Hoo Shoo Too stopped and looking at the tree on the power lines near tigerbend.

Also saw about 7 utility trucks at the Exxon on antioc at tigerbend.

That’s deep down Hoo Sho Too. He’s probably on a diff grid than me. But DEMCO had trucks out here pretty quick and made sure everyone was back on.

What I don't understand about Entergy (specifically talking the company itself), is why isn't their system advanced enough to lay all this out for the crews?

You'd think that their system would know where the downed lines are, what equipment and labor they have available, as well as road closures/blockages from Google traffic data.

From there it's just prioritizing work based on what's going to have the quickest impact to the most number of customers.

Is this not how it works? Legit curious

I had power for 90 minutes on HWY 30 in Gonzales and then Entergy pulled the rug out from under me and I am back in the heat and the dark. Don’t understand.

Prairieville just across the Manchac off Oakland. No Power.

There is a power line that crosses the Manchac into BR and the poles are at 45 degrees. Not sure I am on that grid or not.

I had to go that way this morning on Old Perkins. I took this picture between Bluff and Swamp...

May have to blow it up to see it better.
