I'm not so sure. I've heard CPAs tell some pretty crazy stories. Between multiple vehicles, boats, lakehouses and beachhouses people can stretch themselves pretty thin.

Disagree. 450k you can easily afford a house 1-1.5 million range plus a couple of 50k-75k cars, catholic school tuition and still be saving several thousand a month.
