lost smell/taste 7 days after first symptom (fever 101.4)

smell was gone for 7 days as weel as taste, but i had some sense of taste left.. i could only taste sweets, citrus/some fruits, and chicken noodle taste like chicken noodle.

a cookie tasted like sweet cardboard, beef was a no go as it was off in taste.

Had the same thing (super high fever, water shits, no appetite for 4-5 days plus pain in every part of my body. Turned out to be Covid. Had very little respiratory problems and maybe a week or less of taste issues. Hard to tell bc I wasn’t eating due to the stomach problems. On Day 1 thought it was a stomach bug......

All i had was mild muscle weakness and fatigue for 3-4 days. If covid wasnt a thing i would have just blown it off as nothing

I’ve got it now and congestion and being tired are the two biggest things. I woke up and sharted around 1:00 am on Thursday morning then had to get out of bed and clean up

Still don’t have my taste or smell but feel fine. Worst was Sunday-Wednesday and it was just a little coughing(in the deer blind) and fatigue.

I tested positive Saturday. I still have my taste and smell. I basically ache all over like someone beat me with a baseball bat. Fever, a little cough. I'm also very tired a lot which is highly unusual for me as I'm a very hyper active dude.
Edit- Spoke too soon. The very next day I lost my sense of smell and it's been gone since. Didnt lose taste though. Wife (no pics) lost both.

My symptoms lasted two days: chills, headache and low grade fever the first day, fever and a headache the second day. Symptoms were gone the third day.

I luckily did not, but I did get pneumonia. I would easily trade that in for loss of taste/smell

I have posted in one of these threads already I believe, so sorry for the redundancy, but I have lost all smell and taste for about a month now. It fing sucks. My son, who is 17, had it in late July and still has absolutely zero taste or smell. I can live without it but it really is terrible for a 17 year old. Some of the research I've done suggests there is a distinct possibility that he will never get it back. If anyone knows of it coming back after three months please give me some hope. Thx

I caught it early on in February. My lungs were messed up for about a week, fever for a few days straight, loss of taste and smell for a couple weeks. The worst part was the 3 months of fatigue, I had no energy and nothing helped. Gradually got better.
