Likeability shouldn't have anything to do with this. Stats speak for themselves.

Do people really give that much of a shite about the NFL HOF?

The NFL has become the WWE.

This was proven in court. When NOLA sued the NFL based on the NOLA No Call the case was dismissed based on the claim from the NFL that they are an entertainment company.

ETA: and now Entertainment and Sports Programming Network (ESPN) advertises WWE programs during college and NFL games.

Gotta stop taking this shite so seriously.

Being a caught cheater? Not that should disqualify him entirely but add the question of if it was really Brady all along given Brady’s success elsewhere and his collapse without him…….

And Mac Jones's success without him.

I don’t care about anything to do with the NFL, including their HOF.

Within 10 years there’ll be a bust of a player who transitioned in the HOF, looking like a bust of Rupaul. The NFL will make it happen.

If they can seriously come away from a meeting to announce that Belichik with his resume’ didn’t make the HOF, just think about what they have done and continue to do in determining who advances in playoffs, when every game’s outcome is ultimately based on a call that is subjectively reviewed.

LMAO. How can you take this seriously?

I stopped watching all pro sports awhile ago but they're just bad products but if you want to read a rant, this is Jimmy Johnson's:

quote:

“This is just WRONG,” he wrote. “#2 winning ALL TIME … more Super Bowls than anyone unimaginable # of division championships … lot of small jealous voters.”

He would add other tweets to the mix, hitting the topic from all angles. He demanded transparency and accountability on the Bill Belichick front.

“I would like to know the names of the assholes who did not vote for him,” Johnson wrote. “They are too cowardly to identify themselves… PLEASE…If you did not vote for BB identify yourselves!!! Probably too much of a coward..Hide behind your SECRET BALLOT!!!”

HOF is tantamount to Hollywood Oscar winners.

You claim to be anti-corruption, and talk about people not having morals; yet start a thread bitching about a coach not being a 1st ballot HOFer that is tied to spying on opposing teams & their practices & having footballs deflated below league approved levels to gain an advantage

FYI, I thought he should have been a damn near unanimous 1st ballot guy (you knew Polian would not vote for him, and Dungy is 50/50 against)

Did you mean to say that he is possibly the greatest cheater of all time? Definitely a fist balloter for the Cheaters Hall of Fame.

Invested in or too invested in?

I love F1 but if they dissolved the series tomorrow I would just move on and remember how good it was.

Certainly wouldn't let it change my mood.

You can say that Tom Brady got him lots of Lombardi's but he didn't do it all.
And who was ultimately responsible for that? Belichick’s job as GM and head coach was to put together the best roster possible, even when taking chances on the 199th pick in Brady. And who developed him?

Sick of these posts about Brady vs Belichick. When in fact there’s Brady because of Belichick. Brady’s success only makes Belichick look that much better.

Drew is up for vote this year right alongside Bill.

Brees got in first ballot last year. He’s being admitted this year.

if spygate is the reason then he should never get in. neither should brady (deflategate). Or any member of the teams that benefited from cheating.

But, they will put him in next year after punishing him for a year. it's just dumb. Stats don't change.

I agree.

When I was young cheating was right up there with lying and stealing. People didn't want to be known as any of the three. Times have changed, and not for the better, in regard to these.

Are you really invested then?

Sounds more like a boredom buster than something you "love"
