This is more common than people think, And for CPE it kinda makes sense when you have Quanta in your backyard.

Constitutionally under an emergency it's the County judge that has all the power/authority
But Abbott, Lieutenant Dan, Lina,Centerpoint they all have blood on their hands on this one

This sucks so bad and I don't even have it the worst compared to others. Got friends etc with power and I have a good generator with a portable AC but not a single f'ing truck in my hood and I'm right off 10.
At least the lines for gas have slowed a bit. Was like 3rd world there for a minute.

Apparently my entire neighborhood has power with the exception of my street and the street directly to our west. Awesome.

“Governor Abbott has a great case”
I agree with your comment but first thing first.. he will have to attend a few meeting to get up to speed that he represent the state of Texas and we are not paying him for conferences.
Guy is useless .

I know. But it's the optics. Same with Cruz and the snow storm.

Go frick yourself.
It isn't "Kaos" as you put it in that thread. People just want answers on when power will be restored. You don't see half the state screaming; "where is FEMA?"

This is a job for the Cajun Navy!!
In all seriousness, we feel for anyone going through this. Good family friend is in Katy, and they are still without power!

Centerpoint needs to offer the following customer concessions to address their pitiful organization:
100 percent discounted energy bill for a month if power is out for one week or longer
50 percent discounted energy bill for a month if power is out for 3-7 days.

So multiply that number by say 2.5 individuals per household on average.
Shocking
