I like those.

I don’t wear formal often but love the Bauhaus watch look.

I debated on going Nomos Tangente but “settled” for the Stowa Antea Klassik. And boy do I love it. It’s so damn low profile and clean. Perfect under a suit:

I have this formula 1 with black rubber band, it was 1k when I bought it. I love the look and wear it often, but it’s not very comfortable tbh. I have an older Tag Link with stainless band and it’s more comfortable.

Perfect watch really for florida. Can wear it for dress...casual...and with no stains sweating through the band and no worries about getting wet
The perfect watch for Florida is one that you can wear being arrested for indecent exposure in the early morning, bail out, go to your parents’ house for lunch, have to call EMS there because your mom and dad’s AARP gang bang has gone amok, and then hang out with Casey Anthony later in the evening.

So probably a G-Shock

It's 2020. The only reason you need to wear a watch is because you are tapping into your feminine side. Admit it.

People should make their own choices, and I mean that, but would the Marlboro Man wear an Apple Watch? Can you imagine Sean Connery wearing one?

There’s something effete about an Apple Watch.

A mechanical watch is a tool, a cell phone, or an Apple Watch is a disposable good with a two to three year lifespan. And it needs an electrical outlet to function.

People should again make their own choices, but one the positive changes in our culture in the last ten years has been the shift away from disposable goods. We’ve reinvested in products that are either made to last, or at least are repairable.

This is a thread asking for opinions on the best watch under $1,500. This may be difficult for you to understand but these are simply suggestions. You are still free to choose what watch to wear or not wear.

Marlboro man is dead and really gramps? Connery is 90. Odds are he didn’t have electricity in the home he was born. No he’s “probably” not wearing an Apple Watch. Now smacking some chick around? Probably.

You’re a tool. are you familiar with automatic or kinetic, how bout solar?

While I agree with this. Your entire post is a bitch fest of the complete opposite. You want people to make the choice you approve of.

There is a second hand Bell & Ross Pilot on Crown and Caliber for $1,400, seems like a good buy.

Otherwise: second hand Tag, Hamilton, Oris Longines. Probably all of those have been mentioned. Feel like $2,000 is where the options open up more especially for second hand w/ papers.
