Regardless of what your political beliefs are sometimes people want to discuss other facets of a state’s growth or lack thereof.
I wonder about you all on the left and right. Does it get old talking about politics all the time? I don’t think the far left and far right truly get tired of it and it’s just exasperating.

Have you seen Florida schools? They are modern mini college campuses.

Sorry you're exasperated. It is just so terribly difficult for you.

Jake, was I being nice to you?

Hardly any basketball Americans in those states to ruin everything by committing crimes, tanking education scores, etc...?

With the exception of Florida, you couldn’t PAY ME to live in any of the ‘Top 15’ states. Louisiana is no prize, but most of these states aren’t either.
That’s perfectly fine and your opinion is valid as it is your own. Forget any rankings, I think living in a different place, even briefly, can be a good thing for people.

You've obviously never met anyone from eastern Washington or non-Boise Idaho.

List is meaningless and is a waste of time, but this is a super weird bit of defensiveness

Move to Minnesota and let me know how all that high ranking feels after one winter

LA may be last at a lot. But go live in some bland arse state for a few years and then come back. Then its not so bad

What I'm curious about is what Louisiana's highest ever ranking is and when that was.

Racist. States with large black populations tend to be at the bottom half.
It's not racist. It's called reality.

At a time when the federal government is attempting to hand more responsibility for spending and policymaking to the states, these rankings offer the first comprehensive view, state by state, of how some states already are performing best.
The frick? Feds trying to offload authority to states? Do they not know which party is running things right now?

It's a lovely feeling walking around safe and not HAVING to conceal carry or have a piece in my rig.
All states have pros and cons but that's one con I do not miss and I never have to worry about dealing with....until I visit family in NOLA.
I might see 1 basketball American today....maybe.
