One that does a 100 more things than just tell the time.

Gold sport watch or dress watch?
Sport/casual
A gold OP 36 is probably my dream watch but my budget is more like $6k

Speedmaster's are excellent.
I just wish Omega would cut it off with all the “limited edition” versions. Rolex can’t hold a candle to the Speedmaster (and NASA confirmed it), and yet the Swatch Group goes blitzkrieg on the brand and changes parts to plastic with each generation—and not talking about the hesalite.

The Rouchefoucauld. The thinnest water-resistant watch in the world. Singularly unique, sculptured in design, hand-crafted in Switzerland, and water resistant to three atmospheres. It is *the* sports watch of the '80s. It tells time simultaneously in Monte Carlo, Beverly Hills, London, Paris, Rome, and Gstaad.

Tag Breitling Panerai IWC
Huh? I’ve been out of the watch game for a while, but no. Never been a movement snob, ETAs are reliable and more easily serviced, but no for those other than Panerai or IWC.

The newest reverse panda they released is awesome, but it’s not cheap. And I don’t believe it’s an LE.

Tudor imo
Can you say Tudor is “not a Rolex”?

Not a best watch that isn’t a Rolex but good enough for daily wear, Hamilton Khaki.
After buying my wife a 33mm Khaki Field below for Christmas, there are others I’d be okay with.
Maybe something like this Hamilton Khaki Aviation.

I had a 40th anniversary Apollo Speedmaster that my wife gave me and I gave to my son-in-law.
Great, solid watch
Look into Ball also. Great watches, with great history.

I've got a Citizen". that is more accurate than either "Rolex' that I have owned.
I have worn it for about twenty years. No battery changes???
