I'm thinking of buying another TV too. The one in my spare bedroom is getting a little laggy. Wondering if I should wait until cyber Monday though. I don't usually do the Black Friday/cyber Monday thing but decided to check it out this year and have been pleasantly surprised so far.

I don’t usually pay much attention to the sales either
The only time I ever got up early was to buy a cricut machine for like $40 at JoAnn Fabrics - I was the only person there at 7 AM
Much to the chagrin of 777, we grilled hamburgers & hot dogs yesterday. My siblings did not volunteer to do anything and my mom was acting up - so MrGRT and I did what we wanted. There were no complaints.

A little different for thanksgiving but I think it's actually a good idea to do different, at least some times. A few years ago I made shrimp and grits for thanksgiving and it was a hit, even out here. I don't think it was my cooking but moreso that it was just different than the usual.

jk, my mom went on a kick for a few years of doing "non-tradtional" Thanksgiving dinners, Cajun one year, Messcan the next, etc., I thought it was kind of cool
