That is kinda ridiculous to say someone is a war criminal during a bombing campaign in WW2. It was a war and techniques and technology was not what it is today. This relentless pursuit mainly by leftist to apply thinking and actions today and comparing to the way people and society acted and thought in the past is just stupid. My Mother In Law was 2 years old when Regensburg got shelled in 1943 and her mother had to pack her and her new born brother up and walk with them almost 50 miles to Amberg in hopes family would take them in. They knew it was war and would not say it was criminal. It was a different war and different time.

Hitler instituted total war in Germany. Those who refused to fight were killed by the nazis so, in essence, there were no German civilians in Germany at the end of the war.

Strategic bombing doesn't work how do you figure? at the end of the war the Luftwaffe had parked me-262 jet fighters and pilots to fly them but no fuel to put them. The wehrmacht had converted vehicles to run on wood burning stoves.
