My kids’ school has been on lockdown a couple times. The school is in a sketchy area and those few times is because some a-hole was acting up and running from the cops and ended up in the school zone.
Point being, doesn’t always have to be something extremely concerning.

I'm barely a year into being a dad and all of this shite terrifies the hell out me. My sister who just finished high school had to learn how to Run Hide Fight. Schools are being stocked with tourniquets for active shooter situations.
This should be concern on two levels: 1. threats are present and very real, and 2. if some asshat is calling a bomb threat because they don't want to go to school they are a massive disciplinary problem that is currently plaguing our society.

You people must be miserable. Bomb threat shuts down 3 high schools and you turn the thread into how “catholic high is woke”. Not even like the threat was at catholic high or their political view has anything to do with it.

Why don’t you drop some knowledge then. I’ve got one there and one who recently graduated and woke is not something I would describe the school as.. do they have some liberal teachers.. of course but difference of thought is healthy in the learning process.
