Wow. Shouldn't be that way. I do respect and admire President Obama and he's 100x better than either Trump or Hillary Clinton. BUT, he isn't going for a third term or martial law.
AND, I'm not some President Obama sycophant. I don't agree with his policies on Muslims.

The military is obligated to disobey unlawful orders. If the President orders martial law, the JCS must refuse. If a military officer tries to institute it on his own, his subordinate must refuse to carry out the order, and should lace him under arrest for sedition. Even in a situation where there were several high ranking conspirators, at some point down the line, the built in Constitutional circuitbreakers would kick in.

I tell ya. What they did during Katrina was wrong. Confiscating guns in houses that no one was staying at. Taking guns from law abiding citizens. frick that. I could see them doing that again. Why I'm glad I live where I do. If shite like that really does hit the fan. I just hope our military would have enough sense to follow the constitution and not what hilldog tells them to do.

Technically it can happen.
But to my knowledge, we have only had martial law in the US twice.
1)During the Civil War
2)Sometime during WWII (which I believe was only regional)
Highly unlikely we see it happen again any time soon.
