Can we keep this crap on the money board? Lynx seems like a pretty successful guy, and mainly posts on the money board. Pretty sure he knows what he's doing.

Exactly.

I guess I'm a poor then with my lowly 2013 Silverado Crew Cab LTZ with only 21,000 miles on it.

Why would you want a 60k car that burns oil...it's a nice car...but get a bmw 5 series or a merc e350.....neither burn oil

Or get an a6 tdi

Thanks for the advice guys. For the people criticizing the budget, I don't know what else to say other than it is well within my means.

Cayenne has come up a few times so I will check it out. Currently, I have an 05 JGC and it has been awesome. No issues but it's getting old hence the new car need. I'm a coin flip with just getting a new one... I know I can keep it 8-10 years especially if I have a family during the latter half of that.

A6/S6 might work better since I'm a big guy... I know that these are steep when new but I've been surprised at some of the prices for like new CPO.

Recommendation on a certain model Lexus or MB to consider?

Thanks everyone

No. Just no.

As the owner of one, don't do it. They are boring as hell to drive and look like a slightly better Toyota. Worst car purchase of my life.

Don't bother with lexus. At all. They are reliable, sure. But so vanilla. I walk up to my car and shake my head on a regular basis.

If you want to look mercedes then the e-class, but I prefer a BMW 5-series any day of the week. That's just personal preference though.

My boss makes about $400K per week and leases an Audi S8 and Porsche 911 Turbo S, about $350k total for both cars. I'll tell him this board thinks he's bad with money.

Why does anyone here care about what your boss does? Or what you do for that matter?

There was some dispute here about the correct way to purchase a vehicle and what that might mean regarding your personal income. I offered a specific example. Sorry if you are too stupid too make the connection and are offended by success.

Yes I'm very offended by success. I look in the mirror every day and am disgusted by it. GFY gump.

Typo and I don't understand the obvious hate when discussing someones success. Why the resentment? Oh, I think I get it...
