The wife and I basically just exchange a couple few hundred bucks in cash or gift cards every year.

The white girls are way more worried about flexing on each other with who can out-gift the other than Jesus/family/time/love etc. This shite has gotten out of control. It took the kids over an hour to open gifts at the family parties. My box and wrapper fire will be visible from the moon this evening.

It's great that the kids get so much and all that, but we are going to be doing some serious donating to make room for all the new shite.

We spent 300 each on our two adult kids and 300 for each of their long time significant others. I spent 100 on my father.

I spent more on myself this year than the last 10 years combined. Dad was a good boy.

My daughter is getting married and needs money for a honeymoon so I gave her and all my kids $2,000. $6,000 total.

Ha! I bought my son a car…so I’m well over the stated benchmark. Only the second car I’ve given as a gift…it does make you feel good though…alibi, a little poorer…LOL

We spent about $300 each on our two girls, maybe $100 each on my wife and I, and $9000 on our vacation next week.

Neighbors bought a $12,000 golf cart so their shite head kid wouldn’t have to walk 100 yards to the pool anymore. I listen to him the last two weeks try and justify it to me.

They currently set the Jones’s standard. I’m sure they’ll be one upped by the end of the day. It’s early.

I normally start buying after I Mx SS out in September. Didn’t really do that this year. Pretty sure we made it to 5 digits in spending this month.

About $600. And that includes throwing a family dinner.

My dad says Christmas is Jesus’s birthday. It’s not yours.

I typically max out a CC and let it go to collections. So free, except for some annoying phone calls from collections.

I cut the commercialism in Christmas some years back. I obviously give small gifts and cash to my adult children, a lot to my granddaughter, something for my significant other, parents and a few close friends. Then what Christmas meal costs. I got tired of the buy everyone something. That’s not the reason for Christmas to me.

How much the holidays set y’all back this year?

Around $2000.

Daughter got a nice bike for family trail riding and son got an iPad. That hit about $1000 right there.

Wife and I don’t get each other much. She spent around $120 on me and I spent $200 on her.

Then we got the kids other stuff and presents for extended family. Adds up quickly.

Total for everything about 1k, but yesterday I bought us a new golf cart so I kind of blew it in the 11th hour.
