The C6 to me is the best iteration. It's a great motor mated up to an excellent transmission. The interior is simple but well done. The seats could be more supportive for tracking but for day in and out driving they're fine. The only upgrade I did to mine was to have a front and back camera and Alpine stereo with carplay installed.
Chrome or black wheels both look dope.

I would rather discuss vettes over washing machines any day.
In a generation, we’ll own none of their products and be happy eating bugs.

Agreed.
Not a fan of aftermarket rims. if it were me, OEM in gunmetal.

The Corvette Grand Sport was introduced in 1963, by then lead engineer, Zora Argus-Dunkov, the “Z” in Z06 and ZR1.
Grand Sports were then re-introduced in 1996 for the C4 Special Edition. C6 in 2010 and again in 2018 for the C7.
The Grand Sports are in essence a Z06 with a NA engine. They can be ordered with the Z07 Track Package.
My two favorites Grand Sports are the Collectors Edition issued in 2017, and the Carbon 65 in 2018.

Just keep rocking the white new balance

Here’s mine. Originally came with black wheels with a chrome ring but I wanted a more aggressive stance. Red calipers with the Z51 package

Since this is turning into a Vette thread (much better than a washing machine thread), I'll show off mine:

Beautiful color, love the tan interior also, great combo. Do they still call the tan interior "Kalahari"?
Kalahari interior was pretty rare in C7 trims.

Damn that’s a nice blue. Are those wheels chrome or is that more of a gunmetal/“machined” finish

Blue is "Elkhart Lake Blue Metallic". Was new for 2019 (but VERY similar to laguna blue available in 2014-2017) and also reappeared for a few years in the C8 cars.
Wheels are Apex forged and are brushed aluminum with a clear coat, wash them just like paint (I did ceramic coat also to ease maintenance). It may be hard to tell in the pics but there are some areas that some hand work took place smoothing out the machine marks. Monoblock forged wheels start out life as a big wheel blank and every surface is machine cut.
Here is the street wheel (forged brushed finish) next to the 18" track wheels I use also which are flow-forged and painted silver.

Beautiful car, and those rims are excellent.
Have you had any balance issues with the rims?

Thanks man. Apex forged wheels are still not cheap but a relative bargain compared to other forged wheels out there. Buy once, cry once.

Not so far. New tires were mounted and balanced at Discount Tire. They actually have some of the nicest, newest, tire equipment and the store manager hooks up the Corvette club with free install (That's only $99 but hey, every little bit helps). They seem to have a reasonable amount of wheel weights on them for the size.
I lost 6 pounds a corner versus the stock setup in identical sizes. Removing 24 pounds of rotating unsprung mass is huge and likely the performance equivalent of dropping a hundred pounds or more from the body of the car.
I won't quote a speed but I have been fast enough on this setup that any imbalance would show up and the car is rock solid and smooth.

There are some blacked out on the web that look great.
So you like the black yourself?
Why do you need opinions from others if you know what you like? Are you doing this for the approval of others?

Very nice ride Andy. That color and wheels look great together and that LT4 is such a beast of a motor.
