Man, you people freak out when you see a snake. Just go the other way, it ain’t gonna attack you.
I have a window well that seems to attract garter snakes like moths to a flame. My ex-gf would climb down and toss them all out - she seemed to like doing it - still impresses me to this day

You killed an earthworm pussy. If that snake was 3 inches bigger you would have burned your house down.

All water snakes look like moccasins to me.
Cottonmouths aka moccasins have a black band that runs behind the eye. They also have elliptical pupils and a flat nasal plate on the front 3rd portion of the head.

Damn could you have made him suffer any more? How long did he live after you chopped him in half? Did you make him watch you frick his wife while he died?

His name is Robert Paulson. Robert “No Shoulders” Paulson, Jr. to be precise.

Lol probably not necessary to chop that little fella in half with a post hole digger you savage.
What kind of snake eats these a-hole birds? Things want to fight me everyday. I googled a-hole geese btw.

I can't think of a more brutal way to kill that snake - OP really fricked that thing up
You might need a python or anaconda for those birds - or just a 5 iron - 12 gauge with 00 buck would prob do the trick too - or an air rifle scoped in with a shot to the head

I had a ribbon snake on my front porch a few days ago that apparently was planing to meal out of a tree frog.
I intervened and the snake to fine something else to eat like a mouse.

Is there someplace I can get a rat or king snake to control the mice in my lawn mower shed?

My dad says that all snakes are either rattlesnakes or cobras. So if it has no rattles it must be a cobra. I am pretty sure he is joking about that. Looks like a rat snake to me.

I took out a snake with a shovel once - took about 3 blows to get it's head off - I still feel kinda bad for not getting it on the first shot.
I took out one with my tennis racquet in the middle of a match. I don’t know how many swings it took but I didn’t feel bad at all. Freaked my opponents out when I went savage so that was a bonus.

The water and rat snakes usually get mistaken for the cotton mouth (moccasin). Poisonous snakes have venom sacs on the side of their head making the circumference of their head (usually arrow head shaped) much larger than their body. If there is little difference in the size of the head and body, it is harmless. And in Louisiana, usually quite useful in killing rats and mice.

You didn't break your racquet? I broke a lot of them in my heyday just knocking them on the ground a little too hard during a point - I'd say I went through about 10.

According to late, great Lewis Grizzard it's a Copper-Headed Water-Rattler.

Nope. Didn’t swing hard enough to break it. Probably why it took so many swings. It probably died of injury before it split in half. Chipped the crap out of my racquet though. Didn’t care. That’s why I have 3 racquets in my bag. I wasn’t playing with a freaking snake behind the baseline when I couldn’t keep an eye on it.
