Go the cheaper route. If its covered under a patio it last. Never had problems.

I have a HiSense 60+ that I put up about two years ago. It's under my camp completely unprotected, it occasionally gets a little rain on it. It's still working like a champ. I actually have a smaller version of the same brand for tailgating. It's been dropped a couple times...still working great.

Buy a cheap indoor flat screen. Find some way to cover it when not in use. Maybe a platic bag or something.

Regular TV but get an anti glare screen cover.

No. Get a inexpensive tv and just replace it if or when it goes out. I have a 50” vizio that i caught on sale at Walmart about four years ago. With the way that the technology keeps improving that when it finally goes out you will get more options with the next tv you purchase

I have a $350, 50" TV under my covered patio. I also have a soft cover for it that I religiously put on when not in use. Had it going on 3 years now and works great. Even if I have to buy one every year or two, I think you come out must better. When I looked, a 50" outdoor TV was around $4K. Plus you can keep updating your TV tech.
