Cars in general just don’t interest me. Can’t wait for autonomous vehicles.

I want a classic car, but the cost of insurance, maintenance, and gas means it would never be a daily driver. Which means it’s just a very expensive toy which I cannot afford.

I'm slightly older than a millenial. I'd have to have an absurd amount of excess money to consider buying and restoring a classic car. If money was no object I'd probably have a couple though because I do like them.

Someone one at a neighborhood crawfish boil this past weekend had one of these but metallic red. Looked like a small lift with some 33s on it but otherwise factory appearance. So clean.

Agreed. I think these Barrett Jackson prices are insane, this market is going to evaporate. Not today, but 10 years...

My good baw, the cost of maintenance, insurance, and gas on my old W123 is absurdly low...it's just not as sexy as a GTO, Mustang, Trans Am, etc.,

Did boomers go out and buy model Ts? Did gen Xers go out and buy 57 chevys? No, they bought the cars they grew up wanting and had posters of on their walls.

Millennials will want diablos, McLaren f1s, etc. obviously those examples are on the high end, but still the same time frame.

I usually only see boomers riding around in old cars from the 50's, 60's, and 70's.

You mean the cars they grew up with..?

Is it a daily driver you commute to work in?

The “classic” cars my friends love to fix up are early 90’s small pickups, miatas, broncos, and jeeps.

Personally, I want a mid 70’s corvette

Yes. The C10 and Baja are for showing off and fricking around, respectively.

It has over 790,000 miles at the moment.

good call. A diablo is the only older car I’d get if money wasn’t an issue. Maybe some old continentals and cadillacs too.

Had one of these for years.

But then I'm not a millennial.

New stuff does everything better than the old stuff.

Except look good. The classics always win on style.

I had a 2004 Mach 1 back in the day. I wouldn't mind having one of those for a weekend toy. They're still cheap enough now, and I feel they have a good mix of modern tech and old school cool.

When I have the disposable income I'm getting a RZR and cafe racer. Classic cars are boring.
