The late ‘80s/early ‘90s heavy metal clubs were what made Fat City great. I’d post the names, but I can’t remember because I’m old enough to have gone to clubs in the 1980s.

Never went to Kenny's. My friends and I would make fun of people who went there.
I do remember their radio commercials on B97 though. "I'll see you there. I'll make you famous' LOL

Seems like the heyday was mid to late 80s. By the time I was out and about beginning early 90s it was a cheesedick dive.

What a great place it was:
• I creamed in my pants dancing w a chick
• I flipped my car one Christmas eve in the snow on the way back home
• I was there when they got in that shootout with 30+ shots fired, had to hide under cars

Yeah, 99-00 is when Escapades was poppin’. Especially around 5:30/6am after a party at State Palace.
