That picture is accurate. Left hand at the 7 o’clock position.

left foot on the clutch left knee on the wheel

Both, learned on a standard but can use right or left interchangeably

Perfect gif for this thread.
I drive with my left about 95% of the time. Right elbow on center console.

annoyed me i guess because i rest my right hand on the middle console most of the time and drive with my left so i need the volume controls over there.
My cruise control buttons are on the right side of the steering wheel (junk arse dodge) and it drives me insane. Nobody drives primarily with their right hand in a left hand drive vehicle.

When I smoked, I drove right handed so I could throw my ashes and butt into dry tinder on the side of the highway. After I quit in 2014, I somehow became a left handed driver.

Left hand on the steering wheel and right hand gripping a high life.

I am actually comfortable driving even long distances at 9 and 3. Thumb lightly hung over the spokes, and a light touch on the wheel. If you see me with a tight grip we are probably already dead. At 9 and 3 with a decently fast rack, you should never have to shuffle steer except in a parking lot.
As for handedness, if I need to do something besides steer, I prefer to do it with my right because I have driven manuals most of my life. I don't care where controls on the steering wheel are.

My right hand still rests on or near the transmission shift

I drive a 6 speed MINI, so left hand on the steering wheel, right hand on the shifter.

I usually rest my left elbow on the console and have my left hand at 10 or 11

Both hands on. One on top, one on bottom. Drivers are crazy and so want full control of steering wheel.
