One of our P.E. coaches decided we should all know the alma mater so we had to memorize it and were tested on it. 40+ years later I still remember both stanzas. I only know the first stanza of LSU's.

Sorry - it’s been over 50 years and I couldn’t even recognize the music. But to be fair, those 4 years were a great time in my life.

Nope, even if someone sang it in front of me I wouldn’t recognize it

not even sure we had one. if we did it would be something along the lines of

stay on your side of the school
walk down you own hallways
wander onto our hallways
expect to get jumped

I went to a small Catholic school in St Bernard and we got tested on it and sang it often so yeah I remember it at least for the most part.

Yes. Words and music.

quote:

By the Mississippi's waters
Stands our high school fair
Louisiana's sons and daughters
Long shall gather there.

Lift the chorus, speed it onward
We will e'er be true
Hail to thee our alma mater
Hail to Hahnville High.

All the days we've spent together
Fondly we recall
Days of fair and stormy weather
Thou hast gladdened all.

Alma Mater, we adore thee
We will e'er be true.
Hail to thee our alma mater
Hahnville High to you.

No

I was a student worker at the law school one summer , and my job was to organize admissions papers for one of the heads of Admissions. I took applications from all over the country

Every single city in America listed their College when asked for school. New Orleans private school kids would list High school first, and then college

Then when I moved here I realized the cult is legit
