Yes, but not the crappy long kind made out out of denim.

Favorite pair are exofficio. Light and airy, keeps my balls from sweating.

Columbia makes some short ones meant for fishing that I wear a fair amount. My wife, who loves to find something wrong with what I am wearing, actually likes them too.

Cargo pants have actually made a bit of a comeback in streetwear and some higher end basics brands like John elliot

Yup. I wear those or my Columbia/REI convertible shorts made of the same material.

The denim ones are too damn heavy.

it literally makes me cringe when I see people wear them. Makes me cringe harder when I hear people say shite like “the pockets really are helpful” or “there’s room for everything, my phone, my wallet, my keys.”

Not traditional ones, but I have several pairs of hiking shorts that have a cargo type, zippered pocket on one side. My favorite pair is a pair of Patagonias.

Do those count?

I do. The extra baggy pockets make my quads look bigger.

If you’re ex-Military, and you’re wearing them to dirty up and for work, it’s semi acceptable (but even then, pretty cringe.)

I remember being a kid and worrying about what others thought of the clothes I wear. I’ve gotta say one of the great things a out growing into adulthood is the freedom of not giving a frick about what people think of your clothes.

And yes, I still wear my cargo shorts with my white New Balance tennis shoes.
