Same but I'm dependent on it now and it makes sense if you handwrite/take notes a lot.

I put them through 7s and zeros. I wish that everyone that works in medicine would do the same to prevent errors.

Pretty sure I started putting them through 7 in college. Don’t remember why but I’m sure I was called out for poor handwriting

Always do the 7s, mostly to distinguish my chicken scratch

7 always, Zed never (I could see where it could start to encroach upon Swastika territory to the untrained eye)

Southpaw here, so my handwriting is shite. I put a dash through 7s and Zs, and also a slash through zeros.

I learned it in college in accounting. I came home from school one weekend and my Father asked me write a 7 and explain. I have also heard it a European thing also.

I used to because that was the way I was taught in school.

I quit once I joined TD because of the risk of being deemed trashy.

5 and S would be a far more common problem than Z and 2, yet there's no line to fix it

7 no. Z yes.

Writing Fortran programs on paper showed me the importance.

Not that it helped my final grade any.

7’s get a line because I somehow formed the habit. Z’s get a line because my handwriting is horrible and it distinguishes the Z and the 2.

Just saying.
