Maybe because the use of racial pejoratives by minorities hasn't typically proceeded violence and intimidation, as it so often has often been the case with the reverse.

Best. Post. Ever.

I'm indifferent with honky. But I love it when the term cracker is used because when you explain the origin, the conversation usually ends and brain cells are preserved.

Why do you think it's ok to cry about being a victim on a message board?
Posted on 3/3/16 at 9:01 pm to Beaver Bandit
I always think of a goose when I hear the term honky.

'honker', yes ... me and my hommies use 'honkah', which is safe ...
Posted on 3/3/16 at 9:04 pm to Beaver Bandit
Hell yes it does. And white people are in denial to not correct anyone who places that crap on your head.

Only mentally weak people would let what someone else says offend them. Some cultures thrive on being offended.

No, I find honky, cracker, whiteboy, and since I live in Vietnameseland--"round-eye"--all hilarious, always have.

No.
If it offends anyone, they have some serious issues.

Not offensive in anyway. I am proud to be a honky or cracker or white bread or whatever they want to call me.

Again, honky or any other term doesn't bother me. I just wonder why its ok for non-white races to call us what are meant to be derogatory terms, but whites lose their jobs for such things.
I haven't read this whole thread, but my stance on it is this:
I don't like it when racially derogatory words are used to describe myself. Thus, I won't use those same words to describe whites or any other race. I do not use words like honky, ginger, or anything else.
