Just got a noticeable one in SC. Heard it and felt it.

I feel like we've had a few in the past couple weeks. All around the Columbia area. Didn't feel anything down here in CHS. But it's been 140 years since the last big one...maybe it's coming?

Lord, I hope not... can't remember if I have EQ coverage. I thought there was one in the past week or two closer to you?

Didn't notice anything up here in Simpsonville.

Although I do have a railroad track about 300 yards from my house so maybe I've become immune to it. Working from home, my two computer monitors and desk shake upstairs in my house when a train rolls through.

I got family up there, they didn't feel anything. That's a nice place up there, we are considering moving- nervous of all the build up though, that traffic is going to be an absolute nightmare within another year or two. Tremendous growth up there!

Damn, apparently so...more than one. About 6 in the last month, all centered between the airport and Summerville. Seems to be a spate of activity for the first time in years.

LINK

ETA: Looks like the one today had an epicenter right near the Lake Murray damn. Hope that sucker holds now and in the future

I don't watch local news, though I do know Rob Fowler personally , and haven't felt any of them.

A bit of traffic around rush hours if you're traveling in and out surrounding Greenville area. I85 is an absolute parking lot and is to be avoided whenever possible.

Fountain Inn is a good spot, lots of housing building on all sides of Greenville.

We are still trying to get to Charleston. Have one youngster there and the 2nd just told us she is applying for jobs there.

Checks out

Just kidding. Good luck to the kids. I feel like I live on vacation, but it's definitely lacking for industry outside of shipping, automotive, and hospitality. But plenty of lawyers, doctors, engineers, and the trades, like any city.

ETA: If it wasn't clear that was a joke about how many Ohio people are down here.

I'm good with it. Positioning ourselves for retirement in a couple years if all goes well.

My daughter took a lot of good natured abuse when she arrived in Charleston. She couldn't get a SC drivers license and rid of her Ohio license plates fast enough.

Everyone is just happy we didn't relocate from the upper east coast, the locals hate those people here.

The craziest thing is: I never met so many people named Jason in my entire life as I have in SC in 6 months.
