Nope, I was thinking the same thing. I highly doubt this is because of drones. A rough count is 170 arrivals/departures combined go through this airport daily. Not a huge closure, but still odd.

While I agree with your premise, there’s quite a large leap from those things that turned out to be true to eating children.

The idea that there’s an island where the elite bring underage girls to have sex with them seemed like lunacy not long ago.
The idea that our elections would be compromised by our own government seemed like lunacy not long ago.
The idea that our government would pay for gain of function for a virus that was then leaked into the world causing chaos all over the world seemed like lunacy not long ago.

Elaborate.
Hearing what things, and specifically from whom?

I’d assume if there was a restriction to be issued, it would be done so immediately and your padnuh down the street wouldn’t be telling you about it first. This one took everyone off guard. Doing it differently makes zero sense.

Been there a few times. It’s a relatively quiet and easy airport to go through. Doesn’t have any more security than a normal airport, at least in plain sight.

Radio just said NOLA airspace closed for 5 days now too. Is that true? I haven't seen that reported yet.

A few random sites are saying New Orleans when you Google, but not sure if they're legit.

They didn't look into it enough. It's only for UAS during Mardi Gras.

Google AI says it's for drones only?

I need someone to clarify exactly how much toilet paper I actually need to get?

There is a drone restriction during Mardi Gras because it’s a high security event.

It happens every year.
