I held three jobs with Fortune 500 corporations, all just accepted what was on my resume, and never requested that I provide proof of my education/degrees.

I worked for a Fortune 100 company and they required a handwriting analysis to be performed before hiring, along with contacting each reference listed on my resume.
They were very thorough.

What kind of shitty jobs are you people applying for? Every one of my employers (3 in 20 years) did full background checks on all employees.
When I hired on, I had to submit to a social media check, educational check (submit transcripts and degrees - and they still called each of the schools), certification check (submit certificate - and they still called the agency), credit check, multi-state background check, reference check, and previous employment check.
I remember one of the companies that did the work was HireRight.

I would like to remind anyone thinking of this that advertising yourself for services that require a license (engineering, law, medicine, etc) and then having those services retained without said license is a crime.

Handwriting Analysis? Go on....
Did they also check for astrological significance?

I know a guy that copied and pasted parts of government “wanted” adds and swung up and landed at a higher paying job every time. He took a job near me after moving in from out of state and had a higher paying govt job after two weeks. He’s probably a top tier pentagon official at this point.

God help us all if unlicensed Cosmetologists or Interior Designers were running amok in our towns and villages.
