I don't see what the issue is here. It was most likely an underprivileged young scholar who needed to get to their biolab at LSU, and was appropriating their due reparations.

Serious question. What's the actual point of car jacking someone? The majority of vehicles have GPS capability and are located rather quickly. Is this a just for fun/joyride crime?
A friend was held up in New Orleans a few weeks ago and it took forever for them to figure out reverse. The car was located and returned within the hour.

Sickening, but apparently the city couldn’t give less of a shite if they tried. What you gonna do man? I can’t blame this on the property, or surrounding properties who face the same worthless human garbage walking onto their property to see who they can exploit for their own worthless asses.
But I mean hey, I hate to say I told you so, but i fricking told you so..
This is what comes from overbuilding the apartment community at LSU specifically. You create ghettos out of the older student communities that don’t even house students anymore, but thugs, and those thugs are now in close proximity to your children who are brand new away from home for the first time going to school.
The breaking point in all of this is when this city finally comes to the conclusion after it’s all said and done, that SWB and the entire metro council are doing jack shite because they don’t give shite one. Unless we fix that problem, this crime shite is going to go out of control, setting records every year for theft, murder, and you name it.
But I mean hey, I hate to say I told you so, but i fricking told you so..

You can’t fix that problem, you are hopelessly outnumbered at the ballot box.
Why do you think St George happened? It beat the impossible odds of a petition and smear campaign; it is the most visible sign of a failed mayor that a large portion chose secession.
On a larger scale the US needs to amicably separate, divide the land, military/space assets reasonably equal and give people 3 years to choose what they want out of life philosophy wise and live there. Separate currencies. Difficult but better than the civil war coming.
