Link Savoie, 77, who lives in the Sunset area, said fireworks at Christmas have been a local tradition as long as he can remember.
“On Christmas Day you went to church first but then the celebration started,” Savoie said. “As tight as money was — and money was tight — we always had fireworks.”

It's been going on in Houston since the ghetto apartments transitioned from black to brown. Fireworks Season is basically from December 20th to January 2nd now.
I think it really spread during the Covid lockdowns when whites started copying them.

Well I was born and raised with bonfires lining the Mississippi River levee. They were always a thing for us.
They have just gotten insanely louder over the decades

It's almost like millions of immigrants have flooded the country and are changing the societal fabric.

Someone started last night at 12 exactly.. they set off two very loud pops.. they echoed.. they waited three minutes. Set off one single very very loud one.. they repeated this on a timed event for over twenty minutes..
They were off in a distance.. best guess is they were just trying to po people with kids.. mine are grown so no big deal but what a jerk..

Just starting up again in st Tammany. Don’t care except for the 12-1 last night. My kids are grown, but if that shite was going on while I just got them down and started putting toys together…..
