Unfortunately many parts overtaken by tech nerds.
The city still has some awesome stuff, though. Dolores Park is great.

I think about a strong economy with multiple upper middle and lower middle class jobs. Technological innovation. A tolerant society that though imperfect, is willing to accept others for who they are.
So economically speaking, everything Louisiana will never be.

All the people saying gay, poop, homeless, etc have you ever even been there? Or are you just repeating what you saw on Fox news?
Reading this board you'd think you'd be playing the floor is lava but with poop and needles and then you're accosted by gay men at every street corner.

Most of these people are either narrow-minded, bigoted, living paycheck-to-paycheck, trolling really hard and/or really dumb. I'm betting half of them have never been further west than Brusly.

Amazing food. Moderate climate. Beautiful topography. A wonderful arts scene. Technological initiatives. Brilliant coworkers. Great neighborhoods. The Giants winning a World Series. The North Star cafe. Russian Hill. The Presidio. The Bay Bridge. Amazing folks. Too many wonderful memories to count.
And also, a staggering homeless population and a fairly clueless board of supervisors, transit authority, and BART board.
I actually never saw feces but I didnt spend that much time downtown.

I'm down there all the time. I've never seen poop in the streets, but I definitely saw some psycho fapping it in the middle of a crowded sidewalk at 5:00 one Friday afternoon.

Yeah there's definitely a ton of them. We were walking down embarcadero and one popped up trying to fight my buddy who played OL in the SEC. He kept telling us to get out of his house. He then took his cardboard box and walked off. Mobile home I guess.

My man, it's a huge world out there! You should try exploring Lake Chuck.

Been there multiple times.
Definitely gay. I stepped in poop on the sidewalk. Dirty in the tenderloin area.
Lots to see- tons of attractions. Great Chinatown. Cool bridges and literally cool weather.
Lots of hills to walk downtown.
Vibe is basically like where I live but a little more self important/self righteous. Those folks think they live at the cutting edge of the universe.
