Works with State Patrols most of the time but the county sheriffs and town cops often have lower thresholds...

I-75 in FL is high speed country.

I drive in the right lane at 70-72 and have a stress-free drive... everyone passing me and i pass the occasional truck or RV. No jockeying for position, worrying about who is coming up behind me or idiots using traffic as a rolling chicane... plus i get an extra 1-2mpg

It’s a passing lane… not a speed lane… if you look to the right and it’s open you should be there unless your trying to pass someone

Speed limit on even a lot of state roads, and interstates, in Texas is 75.

i thought i was going at a decent speed of 77mph (can't really go faster in ohio w/o getting pulled over), but everyone kept blazing past me, going 85+ on I-95 south of jacksonville. after some time, i said f*ck it, and drove w/ traffic and was doing 95 for a good 5 minutes

Got on that interstate and decided to follow the fast lane after getting passed so much. Next thing I know my truck is shutting off. Everyone in the left lane was 90+ and didn't slow down.

Louisiana police as such losers. I passed a BRPD cop who was just doing the speed limit in the right lane on I-10, I thought he was getting off at the next exit or something. He pulled my arse over for just passing him at like 2 over

I’m thankful police down here actually cannot be bothered to pull you over unless you’re a complete and total a-hole. Even our highway patrol is fairly lenient.

There are stretches of road in Texas that you would have been traveling below the speed limit. Several roads with 80 mph posted speeds and even one with 85 mph.

If you're not doing 90 mph on I-75 or I-95 left in left lane

He should try driving on I-10 where the motto is 10 or more over is okay unless the popo is shooting radar or you are stuck in traffic getting through the Mobile tunnel or in Baton Rouge going through downtown.

Everybody everywhere else is a terrible driver!

Don’t forget Florida is mostly Yankees (i.e., Ohio) fleeing the misery, or people from other countries that never drove a car before coming to America.

I don’t really notice more wrecks. People do drive fast but they are pretty good at it. It’s a lot like Georgia.

Texans are horrible about being in the left lane and driving 10 mph below the speed limit. Most infuriating place to drive on the planet. I can remember when Texans on a FM road would pull over on the shoulder to allow folks to pass them...now they drive below the speed limit in the fast lane and dare anyone to say anything. The more rural the area is in Texas, and there is a lot more of nothing in Texas than there is of something, the slower the drivers are. On FM roads its because the speed limit changes every few miles, for no reason, and there's a cop behind every speed limit sign. I don't know why they drive so slow on the interstate but it is bad.
