Does anyone remember how long it took for BR flood waters to go away?

Pendleton bridge should be good. South of that could be touch and go.

I still had 1+ foot of water in my backyard for Halloween. My house is on the low side of Bluff. Didn't flood, but came close. It took them months to get all the water out of Bluff Swamp.

Good point. That looks good on the map at the moment. Might try that in the morning.

There were several bayous connected to Manchac that took several months to get back down to average levels.

Forgot about Pendleton. You're right about everything south being questionable.

The flooding seemed way more violent and scary in Beaumont/Port Arthur.

My Sister is in Sienna Plantation, about mid-way back, Bees Creek....any updates
I just got back into sienna today...
Looks like the only flooding that threatened/ got into houses was all the way at the back of the development. Scanlan trace and everything south(??) Of that was dealing with flooded streets.

They did this last year too with the BR flood. Very cool and I hope more companies have similar attitudes.

They now think Irma will be a hurricane by tomorrow afternoon. Crazy
It's close now. It's going to be a massive one. Better hope when it reaches just south of Florida that trough in the Carolina catches it to turn it out to sea. GFS says it will, Euro says it will miss and keep tracking west giving it gulf potential.

I know each storm is different and what happens on 1 storm has no bearing on another... but very recent history says the Euro has been better on path of late

There are rumors that people will be out of their homes for at least a week due to the plant. Where can I send people for accurate info?
Harris Co. FMO? @hcfmo 7h7 hours ago
We cannot confirm how long they will be displaced. We are monitoring the situation and will provide updates as soon as we know more.

What does this mean for the folks near or on the buffalo bayou around the memorial/Stratford area?

I'm more concerned about that system coming off Mexico than that one right now. That one has a lot of models possibly projecting a sharp north turn on it at some point. The one off Mexico could be devastating even if just a tropical wave on Texas/LA. Plus the Gulf is like steroids for any tropical system so it wouldn't surprise me to see that 20% chance change drastically...

I don't k ow what would affect Houston but this just happened. Any news kingwood people?
I just went to gym and a news crew showed up. Asked if they could charge stuff. I said sure. Asked how it was across the bridge. They said bad and going to get worse because some dam is supposed to be opened.
I posted this multiple place so just copied and pasted. What is this about?

Hard to have overages when you have no service.
