Made approx. $32k pre-tax stocking the warehouse at HD Supply - we are separate but do a lot of work with Home Depot. Not a full year, 11 months.
Trying to get forklift certs, but my past keeps biting me in arse. No, I won’t talk about it.
Savannah and I filed separate with kids. She makes bank at the mortuary. TurboTax is free for filing and says we should cash $27k. Mamaw knows so we keep dodging our landline.

2025. I typically use itemized deduction.

You should adjust your W4, if you owe more than 1K dollars two years in a row you will owe a penalty. Either that or start making quarterly payments.
I don’t ever remember paying a penalty and have owed 14 out of the last 15 years.
I did have to pay interest on a couple hundred bucks last year after paying estimated taxes in April and finalizing taxes in October. Cut them a check in April then another one in October. IRS sent me a bill for interest for a couple bucks

I am a sovereign citizen. I don’t have to pay taxes.

Do you have a paper route or do you work the drive-thru window?

Sounds like you work for some slackers.
There’s a lot more to taxes than a W-2 for a lot of people.

Not a baller myself. I make $140k and don’t have many deductions (single, no kids). Getting back $700. No complaints here

I've got everything entered into Turbo Tax. We pay estimated taxes thru the year and at this point, I owe $24.
I usually let it sit for a while to make sure I don't stumble across another Goodwill donation receipt or something. I'll file and pay mid-March.

Wife only worked half of last year.
Thanks to all the OT I worked, estimated refund is currently $9,000 with only one more W2 left

The United States income tax system is a pay-as-you-go tax system, which means that you must pay income tax as you earn or receive your income during the year. You can do this either through withholding or by making estimated tax payments. If you didn't pay enough tax throughout the year, either through withholding or by making estimated tax payments, you may have to pay a penalty for underpayment of estimated tax. Generally, most taxpayers will avoid this penalty if they either owe less than $1,000 in tax after subtracting their withholding and refundable credits, or if they paid withholding and estimated tax of at least 90% of the tax for the current year or 100% of the tax shown on the return for the prior year, whichever is smaller. There are special rules for farmers and fishermen, certain household employers and certain higher income taxpayers. For more information, refer to Form 1040-ES, Estimated Tax for Individuals. Generally, taxpayers should make estimated tax payments in four equal amounts to avoid a penalty. However, if you receive income unevenly during the year, you may be able to vary the amounts of the payments to avoid or lower the penalty by using the annualized installment method. Use Form 2210, Underpayment of Estimated Tax by Individuals, Estates, and Trusts to see if you owe a penalty for underpaying your estimated tax. The law allows the IRS to waive the penalty if: You didn't make a required payment because of a casualty event, disaster, or other unusual circumstance and it would be inequitable to impose the penalty, or You retired (after reaching age 62) or became disabled during the tax year or in the preceding tax year for which you should have made estimated payments, and the underpayment was due to reasonable cause and not willful neglect.

Well if you make tips and overtime.
If not, it should be similar to what it's been since 2017.
Now, if you had elected the drunk Indian, the tax cuts would have expired and we all owe more.
But I don't expect people like you to understand anything. Just a fricking clapping seal you are.
