Heads up. Crazy drivers on I- 12 between Denham Springs and Hammond

Wack jobs driving in and out of traffic today. Narrow 2 lane interstate. Made me very nervous. 18 wheeler almost ran car off road. No regard, No care drivers. Hopefully State Police gets out there for some ticket writing before the accidents happen.

Soooo...a Tuesday on I-12?
Joking aside, I drive this stretch every day both ways and there are always people driving like that. I just try to stay out of their way.
Oh, and state police are rarely seen. You'll have your occasional LPSO around Walker, but that's about it.

Louisiana has the worst drivers. Some turner baw was in a work truck and passed me going at least 80 in a 55 yesterday. I don’t know how to fix it but Louisiana has terrible drivers.

99% of the time, driver is a 19 year old girl in a Honda Civic on her way to/from Southeastern University.
The other 1% is the stripper on her way home from work. She's just in a hurry to get to the meth stash in her double-wide in Satsuma.

It's all types. 18 wheelers, Carolina diarrhea trucks, sports cars, civics. shite there's now a stretch with a pond that has some signage from wildlife and fisheries because some truck full of God knows what had a spill there. They had booms out for weeks. You name it, it can kill you on 12.

Everyone says everywhere has the worst drivers.
That stretch goes from Florida to California. So many different people from different places drive that stretch.

The hack for driving I12 is just get in the right lane and set the cruise about 65-68, that's what I do for that stretch now and my blood pressure is much lower. I got sick of the constant fighting for position and having to ride the arse of the car in front of me so that some a-hole can't come flying up on the right to try to squeeze in. Now I just hang out in the right and let all the other idiots fight it out.

Not sure what’s worse. I-12 or the stretch of I-10 west BR to Texas. Sometimes 12 is clogged with 18 wheelers, it’s insane.
