This. Was a big reason we moved out. We were living uptown NOLA and wanted to consider Metairie, north shore, etc... I love the outdoor life in Louisiana but the ridiculous expenses and corrupt gov't (hmmm wonder if this is related) and we said goodbye.

Everything is going up it’s INSANE, and yet the government is PAYING to bring illegals in and also supposedly PAYS them monthly, record number of social security disability drains on society,
