I agree, and I'm one of the fat fricks at 6' 230.
Food options here are absolutely awful. There are refined carbohydrates everywhere. I've been eating more healthy, focusing on fresh vegetables and proteins while cutting out as much sugar as possible and avoiding gratuitous carbs...it isn't easy with every other baw cooking a gumbo or dropping by with hot boudin.

I travel all of america for work. You sound really uninformed. Louisiana is no different in fatness from Montana, TN, TX or anywhere else I’ve been this fall.

The sad thing is LA is 4th in obesity: MS, WV, & AL all 3 ahead of us. If you look at the obesity rankings in the US, it pretty much mirrors the states income and education rankings.

Louisiana is higher than all three and over 10% higher in obesity percentage than Montana.
