Making chicken and dumplings on one side the stove for tonight. Duck and sausage gumbo on the other for tomorrow!
Just put the pot of gumbo outside tonight lol and make sure no critters get it

No work. Lots of slush on the roads but it’s not slick. Baton Rouge continues to not understand 4 way stops. You get snow?

Fried chicken on Lundi Gras is a good call.
I'll probably end up eating the chili that's on the stove in a little while. Guess its a 3-meal day for me. Ice days/snow days tend to do that.

i checked on my parents this morning to see if they were ok, power etc.
they had just finished bloody marys and were moving on to champagne this was at like 10:30
