Any word on the Friendswood area? I have family over there without power. Can't text for some reason. Calls are intermittent, power out since around midnight?

No power here in the Timbergrove area. Everything in this little area seems dead though Tony’s is now open according to UberEats.

Just got my power back an hour ago in Midtown. Water pressure tapering off fast now. Wonder how long I get to keep the power

Mine had been out since 2 am Monday

Just got power for first time in 36 hours. House was in the 40s. Slept in two pants and a hoodie over night

Same for me in League City, supposed to get power back around 5. I took my son to my office because we have power there. I have friends that have power, so if mine isn't on tonight we are going to their house.

Still no power in Katy. Went back to check house thankfully. Pipe burst in ceiling. Inch of water in kitchen and washroom with half bath.

So now when the light return I am worried the house catches fire.

I am usually not this person but yes, absolutely. The moment I hear their is a class action suit or any action taken against them I am all in. Or I will be first in line for government aid if available. This is a colossal failure not of my doing.

You shut the power off to perfectly functional lines for 38 hours now and still counting. What happened to rolling blackouts?

I had it for a few hours this morning. Off since before noon. I just drove to over 10 convenience stores looking for a cup of coffee. Finally found one. This shite is old and tiresome. A little normalcy would be nice.

Everyone I’ve talk to falls in three camps

1. Shut off the mainline last night for the cold. No water now

2. Very low pressure

3. Busted pipe

Yeah, I mean it’s my fault for trying to run a load of clothes in the washing machine after it seemingly thawed out. I just didn’t know any better.

Yeah, we’ve been using Carlos for a couple years now....because we have copper piping in this 1980’s home. Just haven’t bit the bullet to go 100% repiped

Got it back at 330p

Lost it again at 730p Monday night

At least I got a few hours to warm up the apartment and get a hot shower ...

Apartment temperature currently 45° right now.
