What difference does it make if someone has or doesnt have kids?

I spanked my children when they were younger, but not when I was mad or as a first choice. It was a small part of discipline not the main part. As a LEO I see way to many lazy parents that call us to discipline their children. They didnt discipline them or teach then respect as a younger kid and now they have a out of control teenager. I can't fix a decade of laziness in 10 minutes.
Parents should have a plan on how to discipline their children. Each child is different and the plan should be different for each child.
