This thread again, huh?

Are the masks really that big of an annoyance? I dint love wearing one, but they don’t even bother me anymore now that I’m used to them.

Such a good little sheep.

On this graph it shows Hawaii but the note about masks being required is for Honolulu. I'm not familiar with their state as much as you clearly are but was the mask mandate for all of the islands?

Careful how you talk to them on here. Apparently that’s what they want. More doom and gloom, for whatever reason.

It was never about actually preventing the spread of Covid. It was to appease the hyperventilating Karens that wanted the government to "DO SOMETHING!!!!" so they could feel safe.

So government did.

And as long as the Karens continue to hyperventilate, we will continue to wear masks.

People will continue to wear them for a while IMO.

They're too bought in to the hysteria.

The REAL question is how long will they be enforced?

I know a handfull of restaurant/bar owners and 3 of them said the minute they aren't required, the sign comes off the door.

Meh, I rarely wear one. There's a loophole for just about all of the requirements. It's unenforceable here in Louisiana. If you're tired of wearing one, stop.

They've already shown where asymptomatic spreading is a moot point.

Not a single case of COVID spread reported through asymptomatic people.

If you don't want to wear a mask just go to a restaurant.

Or a BLM riot/protest. You'll have tons of government and media types falling over themselves making excuses for why you don't have to wear one.

I'm already seeing more and more people without them, and they aren't really being challenged by business owners/workers, either.

It has finally dawned on people that a mandate that is solely reliant upon the average citizen for enforcement is a bad mandate that really can't be enforced.

As soon as the last of the guilt from the social media shaming wears off, the majority of people will be done with the masks.

It's annoying to have restricted breathing while walking in a grocery store.

Are you 700lbs?

I compete in marathons, and could not be in better physical condition, the masks restrict my breathing walking around stores, it is so annoying I do a fraction of the shopping I did pre-COVID.

I'm at lunch right now.
Most ppl aren't wearing them while moving abouts.

Noticeable difference versus prior days I've been here(once a week).

I'm very encouraged.

Mask restriction in Lake Charles blew away with the Hurricane just like Covid did.

Just 15 more days. To flatten the curve of course.
