I shot a lighter fluid bottle one time and the BB ricocheted back into my fricking eye.

I shot a stop sign one time and got it back in the check ....that was about the last time I ever shot anything metal that close other than an aluminum can.

Had to pick pellet out my leg with a buck knife once. Grandfather would beat us unmercifully when he caught us having BB gun wars. But shooting bottle rockets was perfectly acceptable.

Did a super pump (10+) and laid it on the stump to use later. Idiot friend accidently bumped me and I pulled the trigger and shot myself in the finger. Still have a dent to this day.

Multiple times. Hell we used to have BB gun wars and shot them like people shoot paintballs today.
I once shot a kid with a pumper from 3 feet away. Bb lodged between his forehead skin and skull. We took him in my dad’s garage, worked the bb back out of the hole with an electric magnet, put one of those small circle band aids over the hole and sent him home.
Apparently his mom called my dad at work. My dad hit our driveway on 2 wheels and the arse whipping was on.

We could only use 6 pumps. Played capture the flag with bb guns for a long time...till a new kid moved in and used a Benjamin and shot a buddy in the nuts...all fun and games, as they say.
