Over the last couple of years, I've moved all my finance-related emails to a dedicated folder and deleted unnecessary emails and texts.

I wish I had done that much earlier.

This thread makes me feel better. I thought I was an anomaly by being anal retentive that everything I get is either read and filed, had action taken on it, or read and deleted. I can’t stand to have message or notification bubbles on my phone or computer.
